Privacy policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
At Futudia Studio we take care of your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect on futudia.com, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights. It follows Costa Rica's Law 8968 on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data and, for visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Controller
Futudia Studio. Privacy contact: info@futudia.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), the service you are interested in and your message.
- WhatsApp, email and social media: whatever you send us through those channels. Those services have their own privacy policies.
- Anonymous visit statistics: page visited, referring site, device type, browser language and time zone. We use no cookies for this, we do not store your IP address and we do not identify you: we use an encrypted daily code that cannot be reversed and changes every day.
What we use it for
- Answering your inquiries and preparing proposals.
- Improving the site through aggregated statistics.
- Protecting the site against spam and abuse.
We never sell or rent your data. We will not send you advertising without your permission.
Legal basis
We process your data with your consent, given when you submit the form, and based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and measuring its use anonymously.
Who we share it with
- Hostinger, our web hosting provider, where messages are stored.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the form is sent by a person and not a bot.
- YouTube or Vimeo, only if you choose to play a video embedded from those platforms.
Some of these providers may process data outside Costa Rica, with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages, up to 24 months after our last contact. Anonymous statistics, up to 25 months.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction, update or deletion of your data, object to its use or withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@futudia.com and we will reply within 5 business days. In Costa Rica you may also contact the Data Protection Agency (PRODHAB). In the EU, you may contact your local data protection authority.
Minors
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and backups to protect information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date.
